American Advertising Federation - North Central Indiana
Eligibility:
Offers
scholarships for students majoring or minoring in
advertising, marketing, communications, graphic design
or a related area. AAF-NCI also offers a general
scholarship to a deserving minority student. Preference
is given to a minority student majoring in an
advertising-related field. Applicants must currently be
in their second year of college or higher and pursuing a
major or minor in advertising, marketing or related
field; or the applicant must be a graduating high school
senior planning to major or minor in advertising,
marketing or a related field. Eligible recipients also
must meet one of the following criteria: 1) permanent

American Civil Liberties Union Student Essay Contest
Eligibility:
Essay contest for local middle and high school students
based on the topic, "My Civil Liberties Matter." Two
levels - grades 6-9 and grades 10-12.

Heart Behind the Oval - Ford Motor Company Fund
Eligibility:
open
to high school seniors and current college students
enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university by
September 30, 2010. The contest asks a simple question:
what is your heart behind? We want to hear what students
are doing to make a positive impact in their
communities.
Amount of aid available:
The
first place prizewinner will receive a $3,000
scholarship, second place a $2,000 scholarship and third
place a $1,000 scholarship. Ten
semi-finalists will be selected to win an
ULTRA HD FLIP Cam
for their outstanding
efforts. The semi-finalists will then use their new FLIP
Cam to produce a 3-minute video illustrating their
essay. The videos will be posted to

Mary E. Denham Scholarship Fund

Will provide health and
safety classes for those who are unable to afford them.
Includes CPR/AED, first aid and life guarding classes
that the chapter offers. Candidate must write an essay
(max 100 words) describing why they need the
